Massano Double Rotor/Bed Former
The Rotostone rotor is the ideal solution for working stony soils, thanks to its spade-shaped hoes and reverse rotation with respect to the tractor’s forward movement. This system lifts and separates stones, hard clods, and plant residues, projecting them onto a selection grill that deposits them deeper into the soil, while the finely tilled soil remains on the surface, ready for sowing. The hoes can handle even large stones, ensuring a clean, well-drained seedbed ideal for high-quality crops. Robust and versatile, the Rotostone guarantees excellent performance even on challenging soils, making it a reliable ally for every agronomic need.
The Massano Double Rotor/Bed Formers have been designed to offer professional performance with maximum operational simplicity. Ideal for small to medium-sized growers, these machines offer quick, precise bed forming even in wet or heavy soil.

The front rotor, fitted with special blades, works deep into the soil without altering its natural structure, promoting better absorption of water and nutrients. The rear counter-rotating rotor with steel teeth refines the topsoil, levels the surface, and redirects larger clods back
to the front rotor for a second pass, ensuring a uniform texture and optimal seedbed. The combined action of the rotors results in a soft, aerated, non-compacted soil structure, which improves root development and crop growth.

Two models are available: DRL (200mm working depth) and DRC (250mm working depth). Depending on the model, working width ranges from 1250mm to 2000mm working width suitable for tractors between 40 to 120Hp. There is a choice between two different rotary blade systems and three different bed formers (see below). Manufactured in Italy.
