The Carlotti Green 650/5L potato harvester is the best fully automated potato/onion/sweet potato harvester for small to medium sized growers in the Australian market place. The innovative design offers high performance for such a modest-sized machine without the need to own a huge tractor (40Hp min). The tractor driver can control the collector belt, the shift of the drawbar, the wheels and the rear 600Kg bin elevator via a control box. The machine is driven by a electro-hydraulic pump that is connected to the PTO of the tractor. Two hydraulic valves placed next to the harvester operator (on the machine) control the speed of the collector belt and the large sorting belt. Two platforms placed at either side of the sorting belt can comfortably host four people to grade/sort the potatoes, but can accomodate another if  two if desired. The rear 600kg bin can be elevated at such an angle to reduce damage to new season or delicate skinned potatoes, onions or sweet potatoes.  The bin is operated by hydraulic forks and can be placed on the ground behind the machine when full.

Additional Extras: A front unit to harvest onions (to replace the potato unit) and a modified digging blade for the harvest of sweet potatoes are both included in the price.
